For this residential studio we created a more engaging layout by allowing all the spaces to flow seamlessly into one another, eliminating boundaries and creating a sense of openness and spaciousness in the small appartement.
Our design principle centers around the kitchen as the heart of the studio, establishing a connection with the complementary rooms. This is a significant improvement over the existing layout, where the biggest issue was the disproportionate allocation of space and poor circulation. In the previous design, an oversized bathroom and bedroom were situated next to a cramped area housing the kitchen, living, and dining spaces.
